Preparing for you appointment
Day of Appointment don’ts:
· Do not work-out the day of.
· Do NOT drink coffee or any caffeinated beverage the day of
· Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega-3 (unless medically necessary) 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol is okay!)
· Do NOT DRINK alcohol within 24 hours before or after
**ALWAYS consult with your physician before stopping use of prescription medications**
Day of Appointment do’s..

Brows
• Come to your appointment with your BROW makeup on as you normally wear it.

Eyeliner
• Lash enhancement serums MUST be discontinued 6 months prior to procedure.
• Bring your contact lens case and/or glasses.
• Purchase and use new tube of mascara after healing is complete.
• Do not have lashes tinted or permed at least 1 week before or after treatment.
• Have Lash Extensions removed
• Arrive to appointment with NO eye makeup on.

Lips
• Beginning 5-7 days before your visit, please use a daily, gentle lip exfoliating treatment (like a sugar scrub!) and a rich lip balm to prep your lips and help them be in the best shape for tattooing.
• You will need a prescription if you are prone to cold sores, herpes, or fever blisters. Your physicians will instruct you to begin taking 3 days before procedure and continue for 7-10 days.
• Bring your favorite lipsticks with you to your appointment! This will help us select the perfect shade of color for your treatment.
Pre Appointment Restrictions:
The following restrictions are to ensure your body & skin are in the best condition for the greatest possible outcome. Please read carefully and notify us if we need to postpone your appointment due to any of the following:
· If you are pregnant or nursing
· If you are sunburn, must wait until all redness and or peeling is gone
· Must wait 2 weeks after Botox or fillers
· Must wait 3 days after waxing, threading or tweezing
· Must wait 4 weeks After chemical peel/glycolic facial
· Must wait 4 weeks after laser treatment
· Lash enhancement serums MUST be discontinued 6 months prior to procedure.
· Must discontinue Vitamin A and Retinol products for 1 month prior to appointment.
· Must discontinue Accutane 12 months prior to appointment. (this will cause excess bleeding)
· Avoid all blood thinning medications/supplements for 7-14 days prior to your appointment. With physician approval.
· If you have skin irritation or any blemishes within 1 inch of the treatment area you will likely be rescheduled until completely clear.
